This is the second part to last week’s Spa Night entry. Last week we talked about the first steps, cleansing the skin through scrub and detox masks. This week, I am writing about this great Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask. Like the previous Valentia products I’ve tried this year, I had two months to use them and see the effects of the products not only at the moment, but on the long run. So, let’s start!
This Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask has natural ingredients that provide great benefits to the face. Some of them are aloe vera, Japanese green tea, organic sea buckthorn oil, silk protein amino acid blend, and botanical hyaluronic acid. These ingredients nourish, provide production of collagen, improve skin firmness, and helps fighting aging lines, sun spots, among other benefits. It’s meant to moisturize the skin, and bring radiance.
After removing any make-up an cleaning your face, apply the mask evenly throughout the whole face. The texture is wobbly, kind of like pudding, but it feels very refreshing on the face. A tingly sensations is expected. Leave the mask on for 15-30 minutes on, and remove it with warm water and a soft towel after the time has passed.
This mask felt great, like a real treat to the skin. It leaves the face lastingly soft, and feeling nourished and revitalized. Since this mask has a tingly sensation, I would not recommend using it right after detoxifying/scrubbing your face. But take one evening to do a proper cleansing, with detox or scrub, and the next evening, after a normal face cleaning, apply this mask. And it will not only moisturize and bring radiance but it will also relax your face muscles and make you feel like a real spa experience.
– Great nourishing for the skin.
– Feels very refreshing.
– Uses natural, vegan, organic ingredients, and produced in a cruelty free laboratory.
– Spa experience at home!
– The scent is a bit different, but you get used to it.
– The tingle can be a bit scary if you’re not used to masks or oils that produce tingle. But it’s mostly the scare, it won’t hurt your skin — on the contrary!
